Your privacy is important to us. Scrivix is designed to work locally between your iPad and Mac, without requiring accounts, cloud storage, subscriptions, or external processing for core app features.
Scrivix does not require an account, login, email address, or user profile to use the core app. We do not collect or store your drawings, annotations, presentation content, screenshots, screen stream, or control input on our servers.
Scrivix Remote for iPad communicates with the Scrivix Mac companion app over your local network. This local connection is used to send drawing input, control gestures, overlay commands, and the live Mac screen stream between your own devices.
Your screen stream and interactions are not routed through Scrivix cloud servers.
The Mac companion app may request macOS permissions so Scrivix can function properly:
These permissions are used locally on your Mac for app functionality. Scrivix does not upload your screen or control activity to external servers.
If you choose a photo as a whiteboard or overlay background, Scrivix uses the selected image for that feature. If you save a screenshot, Scrivix saves the image to your iPad Photos library only when you choose to do so.
Scrivix does not scan your photo library or upload your photos.
Scrivix does not use third-party advertising trackers or data brokers.
If you choose to submit a bug report through a linked support form, the information you provide is handled by that form provider and is used only to help investigate and improve Scrivix.
The Mac companion app may check for software updates using the public Scrivix update feed. This is used only to help keep the Mac app current.
